Quick scribbly reference sheet for Jaylen, aka Len. It's about time I made this!

---Build---
Len has a small frame. Slightly muscular (he's not scrawny, but not buff), but you can't tell when it's covered with long sleeves/pants. He's about 5'10" and 130 pounds.

---Heritage---
Jaylen is not an elf, halfling/tiefling, or any part dragon. Most people seem to think that due to the ears, horns, or tail. He's part oni/ogre, part slyph (a species i'm working on), and... other currently unknown stuff... aka "I haven't decided yet".

Thanks to his oni/ogre heritage, he's a bit stronger than one would expect. That's also where he inherited a high pain threshold, horns, and tusks. (He actually had two, but broke his left one a while back. He didn't get it fixed 'cause it's a reminder.)
His slyph blood makes him agile and is responsible for his eye color and tail. The blade is slightly retractable and made of specialized keratin (like claws). His tail isn't prehensile, but helps him balance when running and jumping from high places.

---Personality---
Despite the oni/ogre stereotypes, he doesn't have a violent streak or anger problems. He's easy-going, but not lazy. Sarcastic, but not malicious. He loves music from techno to metal. He plays electric bass guitar fairly decently and occasionally mixes on turntables. He's not amazing at either, but it's still impressive to listen to.
He loves freerunning and parkour, but still takes many a fall due to his risky nature. He's learned how to fall correctly (without getting too hurt) because he's fallen so many times!

---Clothes and Accessories---
He loves his headphones. When drawing him, headphones are important, but not mandatory. I gave him a generic shirt, so feel free to change the style.
Casual Len wears stuff like shirts, jeans, and those headphones. Shirts range from tees to longsleeves to hoodies. Designs vary, but he has an affinity for clean graphic designs and unique witty shirts. None of that overused BS you find at any ol' store.

"Formal" Len swaps the headphones for glasses. He wears a black suit jacket (which he keeps unbuttoned) with matching slacks and a white button-up shirt. Occasionally he wears a tie in that deep red shirt color. Oh, and matching red high tops, 'cause Len doesn't do formal shoes.

As for the shoes in the ref pic, I love 'em. they're based off a pair of black and pink ones I have. I can't decide which ones I like better, my own shoes or Jaylen's!

---Piercings and Tattoos---
Len has an industrial (aka bar, double-hole) piercing in his left ear. His right ear isn't pierced at all, but has a cuff that slips onto the edge. His left eyebrow is pierced with a blue captive bead ring. I'm debating whether or not to add a lip piercing where his broken tusk is.

Besides those piercings, Jaylen has a few tattoos. Temporary ref here [link] until I get around to making a nicer colored one...
